Pape the German nutritionist stated that proper sleep in the night from around 8-9 hours of sleep can burn 70-100 calories . This is only during the healthy night sleep. The same study is even supported by another study in USA that states that the less sleep like for 4 hrs a day or so can increase the obesity rate . Compared to the individual sleeps more than 7 – 8 hrs a day the person who sleeps less than 6 hrs will be more obesity prone .
Pape always suggests and advices his patients to eat thrice in a day with a good diet schedule. This diet schedule states the patient to eat heavily in a good amount in the mornings as a breakfast and same as in the ,morning that is as a lunch. This two times he advices the people to have good carbohydrates with a good amount of proteins. So during the breakfast and even for the lunch good amount of carbohydrates are recommended. The more carbohydrates in the evening distracts the sleep and the undigested ones make release more insulin which is the main cause for the overweight in the body. Getting them in the dinnertime prevents the body from burning the pre-existing calories in the body because of this time taking insulin production .
